Much to my delight, I happen to own what I believe is an identical engine to Mr. Curry's Goold, Shapley and Muir. I have owned this engine for about 18 years, and could never find any information about it, and could only identify it by a picture in Wendel's book. As far as I know, my engine is complete, except for the elaborate cooling tank system, which appears in the photo shown in your article.
I am writing to you in hope that you could help put me in contact with Mr. Curry, so that he might be able to answer a few questions about the Goold engine. I would like to thank you very much for any assistance that you can offer in this matter.
