LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
CAN YOU HELP IDENTIFY THIS?
I just started getting Farm Collector, and enjoy it very much.
I am enclosing photographs of what appears to be a grain roller mill. It has three sets of rollers, half of which are fluted. The only markings are "B&L." The casting numbers all start with the letter "M."
I would like to know the make, approximate year made, and what it was used for. Any information would be appreciated.Tom Stoskopf, 2449 Fairview Ave., Waverly, Iowa 50677; (319) 352-1010
HOW ABOUT INFORMATION ON WASHER, CREAM SEPARATOR?
I'd like to know more about this pair: their age, where they were made, and the value. Maybe some of your readers can help.
Your magazine is the best. Keep up the good work. I've shown mine to several, and they all like it and most have sent in to get it. It's great! Lawrence E. Long, Gowrie, IA 50543.
LOOKING FOR LEADS ON CORBITT TRUCKS; MAYRATH TRACTOR
Enclosed please find a two-year renewal to Farm Collector. Let me compliment you on a fine publication.
Do you know where I can find history, as well as pictures, of Corbitt trucks? This was a heavy truck built in Henderson, N.C. They had no dealers, but instead sold direct to the customer. They also made a farm tractor. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me on this.
I'm also looking for any information or pictures on the Mayrath tractor. I have never seen one.
I really enjoyed the April issue of Farm Collector, with the Graham Bradley and B.F. Avery tractor article. Sam Rash, 3589 Longview Drive, Kenbridge, VA 23944.
