The person who had it is now deceased, so I have no history on its age or source.

It has the name (Western Electric) on the head and on the wooden cover. The electric motor also has Western Electric on its placard. I would like to learn of the machine's history. I have never seen another Western Electric machine, and never found anyone else who has either. I did write to Western Electric, which produced equipment for Bell Telephone, and was told that their company never produced sewing machines.

I recently renewed my subscription, and received the cap in the mail. That is a real nice cap.

Any help with information on the sewing machine would be very much appreciated.
