"People are more into restoration now," he said. "They're seeing that some of this old equipment is still good. That, and nostalgia... and the economy's good. There's a little surplus of money to spend on restoring these things."
And certainly the trade fair offered plenty of "fixer-uppers."
"A great percentage of our trade fair is nothing but rusty iron," Beshey said. "The old timers will walk through the alley and say 'Oh, my golly, I've been looking for that part for 25 years.'"
