A Marshall Plan Massey
M.H. Burger, a Farm Collector subscriber in Holland, reflects on the state of farm equipment in post-WW II Europe. After losing his Farmall F20 to the German's, Burger tells how the Marshall Plan helped restore the local agriculture industry by supplying more equipment. As supplies increased, farmers could purchase their own equipment at a competitive price. Burger describes his first combine: a 21 Massey-Harris.
