How old are the handles?

I really enjoy your magazine but I don't recognize a lot of the old gadgets, as they were used before my day. I was wondering just how old the wooden one-piece shovel handles are - the d-handles. I have several as I repair handles on all sorts of tools for people and enjoy doing it.
