The Avery Machinery Co. Yellow-Kid thresher
By Irvin C. Holman
July 2007
I enjoyed Sam Moore's article in Farm Collector, May
2007, page 10, on the Avery Machinery Co. I own a 19-inch 1917
Yellow-Kid. It's in bad condition although all the iron is OK. I
drew detailed drawings of all the wooden parts, but have not
started fabrication. I wonder if there might be detailed drawings
available. I've tried the Smithsonian Institute and the Indiana
State Library, but with no luck.
