I didn’t get to see the Australian tractor caravan. (Read about the caravan: “Trek Across America.”) They were to come through Russell County but changed and went north through the Dakotas. Didn’t want to drive that far, as we live in Smith County, Kan.

My wife e-mailed them for some pictures because I build models of farm machinery, and this tractor is what I made. Probably not quite correct but I’m sure it is the only one in the USA. That was a great article on a cast iron trip. I’ll watch for the next one. Great magazine you have.
