This relaxed looking gentleman is Otto Duschl, holding up his
Keck no. 1775 after we had finished pulling out all the tubes. His
engine is now completely retubed and in first class steaming
condition. Retubing a boiler is one job that can reamin in the
‘Good Old Days’, it’s hard, hot , dirty work but so
rewarding when you can look at your equipment and say ‘There,
it’s good for many more years of steaming and safe for those
around it.’
