RICHARD GATLING, BETTER KNOWN FOR HIS INFAMOUS 'GATLING GUN,' IN 1857 INVENTED THIS STEAM PLOW PULLED BY A TEAM OF OXEN. A LACK OF INTEREST FROM FARMERS CAUSED GATLING TO ABANDON HIS INVENTION.
