World’s Expo of Antique Farm Equipment Show

The Antique Farm Equipment Expo, Inc., an organization of
antique farm tractor and machinery collectors, will again host the
World’s Expo of 0, Iowa, June 28-July 1, 2001.

The Expo is planned to be the largest antique farm tractor and
equipment show in the U.S. Over 2,000 antique tractors and
implements are expected during the four day exposition.

For the first time, the Expo will host the official 2001
National Plowing Contest sanctioned by the USA Plowing
Organization, ‘We are expecting plowing competitors from all
parts of the United States. This national plowing competition
should add an interesting new activity to the Expo,’ said
manager, Lyle Kreps.

‘We are also honored to have been chosen to host the
National Convention of B. F. Avery collectors. We expect a display
of 50 to 100 B.F. Averys at the Expo.’ Kreps said.

Other scheduled events include: a mini tractor pull, gas
engines, field demonstrations, pioneer crafts, antique tractor and
implement auction, antique lawn and garden tractor display, steam
tractors, ladies events, tractor parades, scale model displays,
children’s events, restoration clinics.

Proceeds from the Expo will be used for the promotion of the
preservation and restoration of farm tractors and equipment.
