Who Was Harry Ferguson?

Brilliant inventor Harry Ferguson’s 3-point hitch revolutionized farming.

A dapper Harry Ferguson tries out a 1948 Ferguson Model TE-20 at his country home, Abbotswood, in England’s Cotswolds not far from his Coventry factory. Known worldwide as the “Friendly Fergie,” the TE-20 was mostly sold in Europe, while the Americanized TO-20, built in Detroit, was sold in the U.S. and Canada.
