In a letter appearing in the March 2008 issue of Farm Collector, Gary Bailey asked if anyone could identify a tractor and combine in a photo he sent. The tractor may be a Fordson, I’m not sure of that; however, the combine is a McCormick-Deering as it appears to be identical to this one.

This photo was taken in 1923 south of Edson, Kan. My uncle, Wesley Roussin, broke out 160 acres of sod in 1920 and sowed it to wheat. Wesley is the one wearing a cap and the other man is his cousin Theodore Roussin. James Collins also worked with Wesley at the time. He told me that he never drove that tractor but identified it as a 10-20 Titan.
