Planter made in Canada

| November 2007

This is in reference to Albert Hartley's letter "Leads on Planter" (Farm Collector, September 2007, page 4). I have an identical planter/seeder used for sugar beets. Each is a single seeder joined by a rod through the front concave rollers and a pair of shafts for a single-horse hitch. The only markings on the seeder are the numbers for the parts, all beginning with the letter P. However, stenciled on the handles are the words, "Verity Plow Co., Ltd. Brantford Canada."
