Enclosed are photos of what I am assuming is a corn fodder cutter. We have had this piece of equipment for many years. It is in remarkably good condition except that the handle is missing.
I have searched the Internet but have been unable to find any information on this corn chopper. As you can see, embossed on the cast iron housing are the words “Long, Black, & Allstatter, Hamilton. O No. 2-1/2. “
I am interested in any information on this cutter. In particular, I would like to find a handle for it. Thus a picture showing the type of handle it had or perhaps where I might look for a replacement handle would be most appreciated.
