In response to various requests, IMA plans to publish reports on
various auctions of steam traction engines and other farm
equipment, after the sales are held.
We would like to list the winning bids but will do so only if
this is agreeable to the seller as well as the buyer.
Auctioneers’ reports will be welcome, in writing. We cannot be
responsible if erroneous information is sent us.
The auctions are a growing development in this hobby. We are
interested in knowing the stories of those who have built
collections, and we will use articles of this kind after the sales
are held. We are also interested in the buyers, some of whom are
starting new collections of their own.
If possible, we will present an auction report article in the
next issue of IMA.
