The newsletter of the Cast Iron Seat Association, edited by Dick Leill, contains news of interest to all collectors . . .

Jim Norman, of Perry, MO, a seat collector, is assembling old cars, horsedrawn equipment and farm items for a museum next to his home. Jim's father has 'just about every piece of equipment that you might find around the farm of 40 or 50 years ago.'

John Friedly, of Ionia, MO, has 'the largest collection of Cast Iron Seats in the world' approximately 1,100, hanging neatly on the walls of one building.

Terry Keagan's new book on cast iron seats of Great Britain and Ireland is available from Leill for $10.00. His address is 4505 Sugar Maple Drive, Lafayette, Indiana 47905.

'Farm Implement Planter Lids 1840-1940' has been written by Gene Murdock, Box 73, Bonne Terre, MO 63628; 400 named lids included; available from Gene for $4.00.

The annual show and meeting of the association is set for July 16, 17, 18, 1982, at Hawkeye Antique Acres, near Waukee, Iowa.
