Farm Collector

Hi. We’re going to have a short coffee break this time. The
reunions have brought us a lot more subscriptions and renewals than
we have at other times of the year.

We got to several of the reunions this year, including one back
home in Western Pennsylvania, The Fort Allen Historical
Association. It is a pretty new show, in their second year, but
they already have 40 or 50 pieces of equipment. All the people we
met there were very good to us.

Mr. J. W. Harlan, 2324 Hardy, Independence, Missouri has a keen
eye. He writes us that in the July August Issue on pages 4 and 5
the pictures do not look like the same engine. The picture must
have been reversed at the printers. He is also looking for
information on the Baker Steam Car made at Pueblo, Colorado.

Mr. Layton W. Milman, 1729 Douglas Avenue, Stroudsburg, Pa.
writes that the 24′ gauge baggage car and coach on page 14 of
the September October Issue were not built in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
They were built in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, though by the Sadly
Light Railway Equipment Works., Inc. The coach is named
‘Cynthia’ and is numbered #201.

It will soon be time to start thinking about the Christmas gift
list. May I ask that you see our ‘Christmas List’ in the
center of this magazine.

Thanks for all the kindness shown us this summer. KITTY
