| January/February 1957

It seems so odd to write to you the first of November for the January-February issue. I am just not used to working that far ahead. Elmer says that is the way it has to be done. Ho is the boss?

With the thought that you will get this before Christmas let me say again that we wish you the best. You have been good to us and made us happy by the many kind words you have said in letters and Christmas cards. We wish we could be as nice to you.

Elmer said I was to tell you folks at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, that the cold spell you had September 6th arrived in Enola, Pennsylvania November 9th. He thinks it must have de-toured or fell asleep at the wheel. It took the Rev. Mr. Covery and he only two days to make the trip.
