Spring has finally arrived. Thank goodness!

We have hopes with this nice weather it will pay dividends on my
Hubby’s health.

I have been spending all my spare moments at ‘His Other
Home’ as he calls it. We’re so glad it is only a ten minute
drive from here.

We are surely sorry we missed the Rogers show in South Carolina
last month. Everyone said it was delightful and beautiful.

We were grateful to Gail Clem and Miriam Hope for taking care of
our business for us since Mrs. Elmer Schaefer couldn’t make it

Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Nichols stopped to say Hello on their way
back from Texas. It was nice to see them. Also Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Orr stopped to say Hello and to tour the Korn Krib. The Orr’s
are from Minneapolis.

Mrs. Amos Brandt has been calling weekly. She said they had such
a wonderful time at the Eastern Shore Banquet. It must have been a
‘gay old gathering of the clan’ Saturday evening at the
motel afterwards. The Jim Laytons again extended their hospitality
on Sunday and a good time was enjoyed by all.

We are sorry to hear the James Bakers are leaving us here in the
East to go West. But we also are happy for them that such a fine
opportunity came their way and they can be near their
daughter’s family once more. They are going to be missed. Good

We’re not sure about seeing you folks this summer at
Reunions but if we can’t make it you’ll know we’re sure
thinking about you.

Best wishes for a successful show to each and every one.
