Hi Ladies!
Our summer has been most delightful, hope you can say the
same.
We just arrived back from Wauseon, Ohio. It was so nice seeing
all our old friends out there and making new ones. By the Bill
Clems visiting the show, from Virginia we were able to share in
a delicious cake from home.
Refreshments were served to the Arts Crafts, Akron, Ohio, A. F.
Brandts, Bainbridge, Penna., Elmer Schaefers, Yoe, Penna., Ernest
Cornett, Virginia and Clem’s daughter, Gail, besides Elmer and
me.
We appreciated all the assistance we received at our stand.
Especially Mrs. Elmer Schaefer.
We are happy that Mrs. Anna Brandt is so good that she was able
to make the trip to be with us.
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Miller and daughter, journeyed from Penna.
to the show this year. It was nice being with them again.
The Leo Clarks from Illinois slept only a few doors from us in
the same motel. It was like old home week with all of us near each
other.
On Sunday, our daughter’s family, Mr. and Mrs. David Gilson
and Ronnie, surprised us from Seville, Ohio, by coming to the
show.
After it was over we returned home with them for a few days,
which we usually do and enjoy very much. On Tuesday evening while
there David, drove us near by to see Mr. Clyde Whitmore’s Baker
engine. He is enjoying sharing it with others in Centennial parades
near home.
We hope to see more of you at future shows. May you too have a
pleasant summer.
