FRICK-FREE-For-ALL

| July/August 2003

Eight Frick traction engines, a Frick portable and a Frick gas tractor line up at the Eastern Shore Threshermen's 2001 show. Brenda Stant, 6101 Harmony Road, Preston, MD 21655 (stant@threshermen.org), reminds us that this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of Frick Company, Waynesboro, Md. Frick is still in business as a major manufacturer of refrigeration equipment, and was in fact a pioneer in the refrigeration industry.

The 43rd Annual Wheat Threshing, Steam and Gas Engine Show, Aug. 1-3, 2003, will have a special display commemorating Frick's anniversary. Various Frick equipment will be on hand, including at least 12 Frick steam engines, a Frick gas tractor and Frick Company literature and memorabilia.
