The photographs on these two pages were loaned to us by Charles
Carbaugh, of 17 Frick Avenue, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania 17268. As a
resident of Waynesboro, Mr. Carbaugh has great interest in the
history of the engine manufacturing concerns which flourished there
such as Geiser and Frick.
These photographs were apparently used as a basis for
illustrations in Geiser catalogs. The exact dates are unknown.
The engine at right on this page, an Eclipse portable, has a
serial number plate which reads: Landis, Frick & Co., Makers,
No. 2(?), Lancaster, Pa.
