President P. O. Box 91 LaGrange, Ohio 44050
Good weather favored the 23rd annual LaGrange Engine Club Show
in Wellington, Ohio, on September 18 and 19, 1993. This was our
second year to use the excellent facilities at the Lorain County
Fairgrounds, and the show has grown by ‘leaps and bounds’
since moving there. Over 360 exhibitors displayed their wares, with
engines, 120 tractors, many gas engines, 100 flea market vendors,
abundant food concessions, and everything else necessary to make an
enjoyable show for exhibitors and spectators alike.
Billy Kennedy’s sawmill (rigged for multiple engines, when
desired), John McDowell’s power eater, Denny Jungbluth’s
separator, Weigel Farm’s dyno and Gordon Farm’s fan proved
to be the main consumers of steam. Enough coal smoke was produced
to satisfy everyone!
Please join us on September 17 and 18, 1994, for the 24th
anniversary, and enjoy the engine show and take a ride on the Lake
Shore Railway!
The LaGrange Engine Club, of LaGrange, Ohio, held their 23rd
