Steam tractor and threshing crew in field ca. 1896. From the Collection of the Minnesota Historical Society.
Minneapolis steam engine owners, note how your Minneapolis engine cylinder and heater should look! This 24 HP Minneapolis engine is owned by the Terry Bodine family of Convington, Indiana, and is shown here at the Illiana Antique Power Show.
This is the largest of all known steam engines and the only one left in the world that is still running. It is shown pulling the 14 bottom plow for a demonstration at the 2nd Annual Steam Engine Show of the Mitchell County Historical Society in August 1997.
