SONG of the IRON MEN

| January/February 1954

R. D. 1, Kearney, Missouri

Look, Ma, the time is drawing near for old re-union day. The boys will all be there and I must soon be on my way.

So cook the hen and bake a ham and pack it in a box; go find my specs', and iron a shirt, and darn up all my sox.

Hunt up the old cream pitcher and spare me out a dime, for I'm headed for re-union and I aim to have a time.
