STEAM SCENES IN MOVIE

| March/April 1980

The steam traction engines shown here look as if they might have been photographed many years ago, but in fact they are portrayed in a movie that is now about two years old.

'Days of Heaven' is the film,, made by Paramount Pictures. Its setting is the Texas Panhandle just before World War I, but it was filmed in Canada--in and around Lethbridge, Alberta. Members of the Lethbridge Hutterite communities receive screen credits.

Our thanks go to Tom Donahue, of Memphis, Tennessee, who is in distribution with Paramount, for his aid in obtaining information and the photo shown here.
