This tool measures about 8-1/2 inches long. It appears to be blacksmith made.

This is a Dengel Stock which is used as an anvil in the fields. If you ding a blade or scythe you can drive this into a post or stump and use the flat as a anvil. This usually weighs 1 to 1.25 lbs.
