Countless contraptions that revolutionized farming in the 19th and early 20th centuries have become contemporary curiosities or even mysteries. Here are six sent in by readers. Do you know what they are?

A. Item measures 15×18 inches. One wooden screw is missing. No Markings.
B. Item’s board is 10×9. Center spike is 3-1/2 inches tall about 3/4 inch in diameter. Tool is 5-1/4 inches long from point to end of handle.
C. Measures about 4×4 with an unattached crank.
D. 1-inch diameter and 4-1/2 inches tall. Made from steel. Has two small holes.
E. Handle to end of cutter blade is 48-1/2 inches long. Frame bracket is 4-1/2 inches wide. Wood spools on each side of blade is 2 inches diameter by 1-7/8 inches from blade to outside bracket. Blade is 5 inches in diameter.
