I have an implement like the one pictured on page 4 of the
October 2007 issue of Farm Collector. I found it in an old
barn in Newberry, S.C. I have not found anyone who knows what it
was. We think it was used to lightly cover seed, like lespedeza,
after sowing. I don’t believe a blacksmith made it. We live too far
apart!
