I was pleased to see the “Jayhawk” stacker ad reproduced in the
June issue of Farm Collector, but the photos needed a
better background. The explanation of its use was not very clear.
I’ve enclosed a copy of a page from the 1923 International
Harvester catalog. Though a different make, the construction and
use are clear. For a good description of a stacker today, see
Books, 31 W. 21st St., New York City, NY 10010. They still use
stackers in Wyoming today!
