Your story on the Canandaigua, N.Y., show (Farm
Collector, January 2007, page 17) shows a picture of a
Hercules box press. California hay farmers used box presses for
about 100 years (Farm Collector, August 2004) but none of
us have ever seen anything like the one in your article.
I think the model of the IH combine on the cover of the January
machine. I sewed sacks on a 51 for several seasons.

Editor’s note: Whoops! Don’s right: The combine on the cover
of the January 2007 issue is definitely not a Model 141, and
appears to be a pull-type Model 51. Thanks for the
correction!
