The Society of American Foresters operates the Forestry
Interpretive Area at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula, Mont.
We have a forest service lookout, an operating steam-power sawmill,
a Willamette locomotive and a working set of High Wheels. As part
of the sawmill display, we have an American planer hooked to a Le
Roi D-382 engine. Two of the pistons seized and cracked on the Le
this engine. If you have any information, please contact us.
