In the caption on page 31 (Farm Collector, January
2006) it says the Red Es were made into the 1930s. I have a book
that shows them still in production until at least 1946. In a back
issue (Farm Collector, November 2005) you showed some good
close ups of a Silver King R66. The tractor in the photos has a
Model IXK engine in it. This is the second Silver King I have seen
with this engine. Most sources say they only used the IXA or IXB
engine. It would be very easy to replace an original engine, as
they are very similar, but it would also be easy for it to have
come from the factory that way.
