I thought the article on International crawlers (Farm
Collector, January 2007) was good. Our family goes back to the
1920s with International Harvester. The first crawler was a TD-40:
I still have the invoice for a TD-35. We then went to the 9s to the
24s. In the end, they did lose out to the competition. The blood
ran red in our veins until we had to go with Cat.
