I am trying to rebuild an old wooden high-wheeled wagon. It has
“Star Wagon, Cedar Rapids, IA.” molded into the axle hub. I have
done research through the Linn County, Iowa, historical society and
found that the wagon was manufactured between 1866 and 1883 by the
Upton-Chambers Co. If anyone has additional information, I would
appreciate hearing from them. I’m especially interested in paint
and wheel colors.
