Letters to the Editor

I bought this machine at a consignment sale. I don’t know what
it is, and no one who’s seen it has been able to identify it. One
photo is the main machine and the other is two pieces that were
within. One is a drum that is driven by a pulley; the other is a
spindle with a pulley attached to it. Can anyone identify it?
