I saw the photo of an unusual threshing machine in the May 2006
issue of Farm Collector. I believe it is a Sageng
combination gasoline thresher. The machine is pictured on page 352
of the Encyclopedia of American Farm Implements and
Antiques.
I saw one of these machines at the Dalton, Minn., threshing show
and Mr. Sageng’s son was there and said it was a machine his dad
manufactured. The machine was self-propelled and had a 40 hp
engine.
