My family had 80 acres of prime black sand which we truck farmed
beginning in the 1880s, using horses until the 1960s, when we began
using several John Deere Poppin’ Johnnies. We also had a Farmall
F-20, which I believe is a 1937 model. Running along the rail to
the front of the tractor are two cables. I never saw them used so I
have no idea what they were for. Can any Farm Collector
