This tractor (a 1948 John Deere owned by Bob Zimmerly) is well known through central Iowa as the "Junk Yard Dog."

We enjoy Farm Collector. Along with the order for the show guide, I’m sending a picture of my husband’s pulling tractor – a 1948 John Deere. This tractor is well known through central Iowa as the “Junk Yard Dog.” My husband, Bob, who is 86 years old, pulls about every weekend during the summer. He wins his share of the pulls. I go along to all the pulls and keep track of the distance.
