Do you recognize this tool?
14-foot chain made of hand-forged links 5/8-inch thick. No hooks or attachments of any kind. The sender of this photo believes the chain would have been impractical for pulling since, under pressure, its links would have quickly distorted to an oblong shape. What was its purpose?
