Countless contraptions that revolutionized farming in the 19th and early 20th centuries have become contemporary curiosities or even mysteries. Here are six sent in by readers. Do you know what they are?

A. Tool is 32 inches long with a moveable head that measures 2 inches wide and 3-3/4-inches high. The middle point is adjustable.

D. The box is made of Pinewood and has a V shaped divider running down the middle. Dimensions are 5 inches high, 10-1/2 inches wide, and 25 inches in length.

E. Item is 8-7/8 inches long with a 1/2 inch gap at the top. Was originally symmetrical, but part of the gap has broken off.
