I recently bought a 6hp Associated engine (serial no. 601911) manufactured in Waterloo, Iowa. It’s run by a battery and coil. My question is its age. It does not have the brace under the water hopper
and it has only four bolts in the head. After replacing the mica washers in the igniter, it runs fine. Thanks for any help.
