I am searching for information pertaining to a horse-drawn road grader that I am restoring. I purchased it at the 2016 Boone County Draft Horse Sale in Sedalia, Missouri. The information given at sale time was that it once belonged to President Harry Truman.

Information from the Truman Library indicates that both Harry Truman and his father once served on Jackson County, Missouri, road commissions. Paul Port from the Green Ridge, Missouri, area purchased the grader at an auction some years back. I am curious as to whether any of your readers may remember this auction, probably held in the Independence, Missouri, area.

I would also like to know what manufacturer built this little machine. It is only 10 feet long and 6 feet wide; very small. I would like to restore this piece to original condition, including the paint scheme. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information on the history of this machine.
