Location of Sawmill Steam Engine

Can you help determine where this early 1900s sawmill engine was built?

I am enclosing a photo of an old steam engine (possibly an Advance?) from Battle Creek, Michigan. I’ve been told the picture was from Clarksville, Georgia; Franklin, North Carolina; Rosedale, Virginia or Wytheville, Virginia. Luckily, there are several names to identify the helpers at the sawmill site. Note the tall smokestack to keep the sparks away from the planks of wood. The picture is dated 1914. Note the teams of mules. Where was this steam engine built?
