EARLENE SAYS-
The School Board has given me permission to be absent the first
week of school this Fall so that I may attend the Pontiac and Mt.
Pleasant Reunions. This I am looking forward to with pleasant
anticipation.
Mr. C. E. Kauer, 2511 N. Waco, Wichita 4, Kansas, had some fun
with me. In a letter he said, ‘I am not in favor of continuing
the column by ‘Earlene, the School Marm Says’ ‘. Well,
that did just what he wanted it to do. Then he hurries on to say,
‘It’s making me too much competition here about who reads
the ALBUM first. Me or my wife.’

As we Dutchmen say, ‘Clever, isn’t?’ He also says,
‘It makes the ALBUM a family magazine’. That is just what
Elmer and I try to do.
We can only wish that more ladies would write something for the
Woman’s Page.
