Time moves so swiftly that the ALBUM dates seem to be bumping
into each other. Elmer keeps pushing me to get a word for you. My
mother always said that I could not be pushed I guess she is
right.
It is a pleasure to write a message to you. You were so
thoughtful of us at Christmas time. We received cards and
remembrances from more than a hundred of you. Elmer and I
appreciate this very much, even though we did not get to return the

I guess we will have to approach the ‘Woman’s Page’
from another angle. Just announcing is not enough. Elmer says,
‘If you want something done in the church you get a doer by
making a personal interview.’ A bright man, guess I’ll
follow his advice.
