Mrs. Leonard J. Mann, of Otterbein, Indiana, invited us to have
Home Made whole wheat bread using flour ground on stone burrs,
sorghum and home made milk and butter. This all when the East was
having its worst snow storm. Roads clogged and the Pennsylvania
Railroad had cancelled 87 passenger trains. Anyway, the saliva
glands have been working overtime ever since. Thanks, Mrs.
Mann.
Well ladies, as I write this we are having from 8 to 12 inches
of snow. Just when I was thinking how I would arrange the flowers
around the house. Elmer says it is the onion snow, a sure sign of a
good crop.
Just the same, Spring is almost here Easter (which will be past
when you get this) house cleaning school is out and then the
Reunions. It’s wonderful to be alive.
