WINTER — O my! Missed two days of school. The children liked
it. Now we have to make it up when it is warm. Well, we had the
best coasting in years.
We have many fine comments on Mrs. Mae Baber’s ‘Country
Echoes’. We think she is an excellent writer. Elmer met her at
Mt. Pleasant Reunion and he says she has a very pleasing
personality — He would know. We are having some contributions from
other ladies. We are glad for this and they will appear

Elmer tells me that the Reunions are getting more interesting
all the time. I asked him why. He said he supposed the officers are
learning what to do and what not to do. I am sure we all learn and
profit from experience.
