Hi Ladies!
This is a wonderful time of the year. Isn’t it?
As I write this we’re enjoying out doors living on our back
porch. It’s early morning, the mountains are beautiful. We had
rain yesterday so the grass is turning green again. It’s so
peaceful and the birds are singing.
Marsha has just left for work at the Album office. She’s
been spending her mornings there just this Summer helping Anna
Mae.
The Steam Engine Show at Montlelier, Ohio is just another memory
again. Need to say Davie, our grandson, Marsha, Elmer and I all had
a delightful trip.
We missed the Sheaffers sharing our room with us. It was nice
greeting old friends which we only get to see once a year. Too, we
had the pleasure of making new ones such as the Petersons from
Florida, They’ve taken over White’s Model business.
Mr. Lindsay of California gave Elmer and me a thrill by taking
us a ride on his Case. It’s certainly a honey of an engine.
Our family with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Glessner expect to journey to
Stewartstown and take in the Early American Reunion Saturday. Hope
it is a nice day!
Marsha and I are certainly sorry we cannot come along with Elmer
and David to Ill., and Iowa, but we hope to next year.
May you all enjoy yourselves and we’ll be thinking of
you.
